The Atletico Madrid and Barcelona game set a new attendance record!

A new record has been made by the Atletico Madrid women's team this past week! Their game against Barcelona set a new record for highest ever attendance for a women’s club football match with 60,739 people in attendance. The match took place at Wanda Metropolitano instead of their normal arena Estadio Cerro del Espino. Because it was a top tier match, they had moved arenas to make sure they were able to fit all of the fans. Congratulations on the record, ladies!
